I've been having a bit of trouble understanding why celebs can't just be satisfied with the massive amount of attention and money that they receive on a daily basis. Actors try to sing. Singers try to act. In the most extreme cases, actors have been known to run for political office. Psh! As we all know, these crossover projects usually end in a disastrous embarrassment for the silly celebrity involved (cough*Glitter*cough*Crossroads*cough). With the exception of a few, most celebrities will end up making the glamorous crossover to reality shows, day time TV commercials, and game show hosts eventually anyway. It's been a lil' trend in the past few years for celebrities to play designer and start up their own clothing lines. Jay-Z's Rocawear, Mandy Moore's Mbelm, Jessica Simpson Footwear, Jennifer Lopez's JLo, P. Diddy's Sean Jean Clothing, Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B., Nicky Hilton's Chick, Beyonce's House of Dereon, etc, etc, etc. More often than not, these lines haven't impressed the public or the critical eyes of the fashion industry. However, I feel myself getting sucked into the scam as I'm finding more and more celebrity pieces that I'd realistically consider buying....
